Whodunnknit Pix: Giant knitted monster love at first sight: Muncher the @btartbox woos a colourful lady. #btartbox

Who will buuuuuuuy my sweet stitched monster?

What are you getting for your monster money? You’re getting one of London’s most famous monsters for your very own. He’s been lurking in the heart of the city for a whole month and has made many many friends. You’ll be the envy of all those other monsterless fools!

Whodunnknit Pix: Last chance to see Muncher, London’s only knitted @btartbox Phone Box Beast. He’ll be gone by Monday night. #btartbox

The only knitted phone box monster London has ever known

He comes with three adorable tiny chums! Toerag the Second, Blooey the Pigeon and Pirate P the one-legged legend (recently named by a small child who visited Muncher on the roundabout).

Whodunnknit Pix: Muncher update: the tiny creature atop my knitted @btartbox cross paws and wings for sunshine.

Three tiny chums for the price of one monster!

Whodunnknit Pix: Essential ingredients to any Deadly Knitshade giant art installation. Knitted vermin! #mouse #piratepigeon #btartbox

Tiny chums close up. Witness their woolly wonder!

His tail curls in such a way as to make him look dashing and yet playful. He enjoys long walks on the beach, eating people and backgammon (playing the backgammon, not eating it).

Whodunnknit Pix: My @btartbox has a tale to tell. It also has a tail. #btartbox

Such a tail!

He’s clutching two HUGE knitting needles with which, if you ask him very nicely, he might make you a cosy scarf. You never know.

Whodunnknit Pix: My monstrous knitted @btartbox has his very own knitting needles. Monster size, naturally. #btartbox

Knitting needles you could stab up a vampire with

His toe nails are ever so clean and he keeps them trimmed. Honest.

Whodunnknit Pix: My @btartbox clearly needs a toenail trim. #btartbox

Monster toes all in a row

He’s rocking a handmade space Invader for added geek chic.

Whodunnknit Pix: The Buttoneers and I added an Invader tribute to my @btartbox. One of a few secret bits... #btartbox #invader

Button invader. Geek chic for the crafty.

And his eyes will follow you where ever you go. Like one of those creepy Jesus pictures my grandparents used to have in their hallway. Only much cuter and less religious.

Whodunnknit Pix: Eye eye. My @btartbox is alive! Alive I tell you! You can see it at the launch in Trafalgar Square on Friday. :)
