Update: Stitch London Olympics Week 2

Whodunnknit Pix: .@cooeythepigeon invites Jess Ennis and Greg Rutherford for a gold medsl hug. She's gone all Steve Redgrave. #cooey #olympicsWe’re coming to you live from the Stitch London Olympic Park where Cooey the Pigeon, star of the Stitch London book, has been wowing the crowds with her ability to turn her wing to seemingly every sport going.

You may remember that last week Cooey amazed spectators with her mastery of javelin and judo and met the Little Knitted Queen.

Proving herself to be the Jessica Ennis of knitted pigeons Cooey has gone for gold in a whole host of events since then. Here are the highlights of the woolly week gone by:

It wasn’t all work and no play though. Cooey managed to tear herself away from her training to soak up the festive atmosphere and schmooze too. Here she is rubbing shoulders with a star:

Woolly thanks to: the lovely Jennifer de Chickera, who introduced me to Silver, made by her sister Maria Thornton. He’s utterly ace, a noble handmade horse.
And Katie Lee for her amazing nails (see how to paint your own at Dork Adore).
Also to Gregory Porter for an amazing performance and for not batting an eyelid when I waved a knitted pigeon at him.
And to BT for letting Cooey and I into the BT Tower. That was fun!
